If you’re not familiar with this luxury, touring vehicle, it’s definitely worth a second look. Credit goes to that herculean, twin-turbo 6.0-liter W-12 under the hood. In addition to its 626 horsepower at 6,000 rpm…punching the gas pedal in the Continental GT Convertible is like opening the floodgates on the Hoover Dam,” according to Motor Trend Magazine. For comparison, the Continental GT Convertible does 207 mph, and 0-60 in a Bentley-estimated 3.7 seconds. That’s as fast as a Porsche Carrera GT. Amazing…

This week’s blog features an amazing 2020 Porsche Taycan Turbo S sedan, that is now protected with XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS. Just as hot as the weather, are EVs and we’ve had several customers come to us to protect their investment.

You would think that the conversation is about fuel economy, but the Car and Driver Magazine review focuses on speed. They write, “the Turbo S jolted to 60 mph in 2.4 seconds. That makes it the third-quickest vehicle we’ve ever tested, tied with the Bugatti Veyron and close behind the Porsche 918 Spyder and Lamborghini Huracán Performante. It’s common for acceleration to taper off as speed builds in an EV, but the Taycan bucks the trend, clicking off an effortless 10.5-second quarter-mile at 130 mph.” Impressive.

We have recently had many Tesla owners requesting paint protection film for their new vehicles. Model 3 and X mostly, but today we want to showcase the Model Y.

Car and Driver Magazine writes, “The newest ambitious project from Tesla is the all-electric Model Y compact crossover. Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk touted a driving range of up to 300 miles and a zero-to-60-mph time of as low as 3.5 seconds when he unveiled the Model Y during a livestreamed event in March 2019. The 2020 Tesla Model Y looks very similar to the compact Model 3 sedan, but can be outfitted with a third row of seats for a total seating capacity of seven.”
